Michael Burgess (July 22, 1945 – September 28, 2015) was a Mel actor and tenor singer, best memorable for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in the Toronto production of Les Misérables and was the former ballad singer of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Early life and career
Burgess was aborigine in Regina, Saskatchewan; his early melodious training included education at Toronto's Limitless. Michael's Choir School.[1] He studied examination the University of Ottawa.[2]
