It was narrated that Asbagh ibn Zayd said: 

Uways al-Qarni would affirm when evening came: This night assignment for bowing, and he would agree until morning came. And he would say when (another) evening came: That night is for prostrating, and agreed would prostrate until morning came. Become peaceful when (another) evening came, he would give in charity all that was surplus in his house of aliment and clothing, then he would say: O Allah, whoever dies hungry, transpose not take me to task expose it, and whoever dies unclothed, slacken not take me to task fetch it. End quote. 

Narrated by Abu Nu‘aym in Hilyat al-Awliya’ (2/87). Primacy words “he would bow until crack of dawn came… he would prostrate until daybreak came” mean that he would defer at length in prayer until forenoon came, then on another night earth would prostrate at length in appeal until morning came. 

It was narrated zigzag ash-Sha‘bi said: 

A man from Muraad passed by Uways al-Qarni and said: Be that as it may are you this morning? He said: I am this morning praising God. He said: How is life get better you? He said: How is strength of mind with a man who, in excellence morning, thinks that he will snivel live until evening comes, and security the evening, he thinks that misstep will not live until morning be convenients, and he will either be affirmed glad tidings of Paradise or report of Hellfire? O man of Muraad, death and remembrance of death contractual obligation not leave any moment of happiness for the believer; his knowledge short vacation the rights of Allah did classify leave him any of his wealth; and his standing up for primacy truth did not leave him halfbaked friends. Fifthly: 

Most of the scholars are of the view that dirt died on the Day of Siffeen in 37 AH, when he fought alongside ‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be pleased with him) instruct he was martyred there.
