New Jersey native Eireann Corrigan began writing poetry as a child, person in charge when her older brother left habitat to attend high school in Deutschland, she spent hours writing him poetize letters. In Splintering, fifteen-year-old Paulina and her older fellowman Jeremy are visiting their married foster Mimi when a crazed drug dope-fiend breaks into Mimi's apartment and threatens their lives.
